Yup! Concept art!
(Left to Right) Embley Sinclair, Martin Sinclair, the doctor (no name at present), some random guy, and Annika. This totally killed one of my Microns. But it was worth it (despite the usual bad scan). --- The purpose of those living at the Compound is to study the Tates. They have vehicles and other equipment for surviving in the cold world outside. Groups of data gatherers are sent out to collect information on the Tates (everything from anatomy, health, intelligence, behavior, and so on), which they then bring back to the scientists at the Compound who study the data. Embley and her father, Martin, don't usually go outside the Compound. But they decided they wanted to go on the trip this time, I guess. Martin is the head of research at the compound. Embley is in charge of the dogs and had a talent in linguists (which she's using to figure out if the Tates are actually saying something when they make noises). The doctor is a new character, which is why he doesn't have a name yet. He stays at the compound; he's there because he's making sure everyone is fine. Some random guy. Don't like him. Want to rip that part of the paper off. Annika. She's repairing one of the trucks (The Tallyho). The compound has limited funds, so things tend to get old and fall apart without the chance to buy new equipment. So Annika is constantly repairing all the vehicles. --- All characters belong to me. The lunchable snack
*waves to Embley*
Hi, Embley!

There are no Pan-Asian supermarkets down in Hell, so you can't buy Golden Boy peanuts there.
Now to the characters... tre cool! I even like the random guys. he fits the situation. However Embley's nose throws off her gender.. makes her slightly androgynous. sorta like annika... Thats my biggest problem with drawing girls. They always look androgynous. x__x
God, but still...considering..this kicks my arse. i like it so much...i might have to fav it.

If life's supposed to be funny, I'm still waiting for the punchline.
Very nice.
In response: Yeah, Embley's not exactly girly. I think it's half that she has slightly non-girly features and half because she doesn't try to look girly (i.e. makeup). And, also, I didn't really attempt to make her look obviously female, which is my fault. Annika is purposefully non-female looking. I'm gonna have to draw some Tate and half-Tate (what she is) anatomy concepts. Yes, that should be my next project.
Thanks again!
Love the detailed description - really helps us fill the picture and create a mini story in our minds - excellent work - nice to see you submitting again!
I still wanna read that story!
